Planning your vacation is exciting by itself. Selecting the destination, researching about the sights, what to eat, and what to do in the area. The planning stage gives you a peek on what you will see and what you will expect from your vacation.
On the other hand, some people likes to travel without a plan beforehand. They want to be spontaneous and enjoy what’s there for the moment. They are okay with unexpected plans and detours.
Whatever your travel style is – there’s no right or wrong. It’s what works for you and what you are comfortable with. So if you like planning – plan away! And if being spontaneous is your style, then just go with the flow.
However, whatever your travel style is you will be faced with a common dilemma, what tour package should I choose?
More so if you have selected El Nido, Palawan as your destination. There’s so much to see and so much to do in this place! What should a traveler do? Where do you go and what activities should you choose? How do you explore El Nido? Don’t panic, we’ll help you figure this one out.
You may get pretty confused as there’s so many tours in El Nido. Four island hopping tours, a mainland tour, and so much more!
Why can’t we just explore Palawan in one go? The answer is – you can’t. Do not underestimate the size of El Nido. For our El Nido newbies, this place is composed of a group of islands. And no, you can’t swim to and from the islands and there are no bridges. You need a boat to transfer between them. There’s a sizeable distance in between the islands and it would be impossible to explore all of El Nido in one single day.
What you can do, research if you’re the planner type of traveler) or ask the locals(if you’re the spontaneous one) what are the sights to visit.
The good thing about El Nido packages is that they are grouped according to the sights and activities you’d like to do. To give you an idea here are the several tours available in El Nido:
